ZUNA ‘s work in sustainable development focuses on the Millennium Development Goals and the Post-2015 Development Agenda.
ZUNA participated along other CSOs at a cleanup campaign which was spearheaded by Miracle Missions at Rhodesview Shopping Centre. These cleanup campaigns are being done so as for different CSOs to encourage fellow citizens to take active participation in creating a clean environment and also work in line with City of Harare’s 2025 target that is – creating and promoting a clean environment.
All ZUNA-affiliated schools were present at this orientation for Model UN which is going to be held on the 12th of July at Cranborne Boys’ High School. This year’s Model UN is going to be addressing MDG 7 – Ensuring Environmental Sustainability.
The countries are doing to be addressing on the progress to adopting climate change.
ZUNA today joined Miracle Mission with its partners such as Zimbabwe Sunshine Group, City of Harare and Environment Africa in a clean up campaign in Avondale, Harare.
