Are you working in the civil society sector in Africa? Then we want YOUR voice to be heard as we explore the common challenges and opportunities facing civil society on the continent!

On 28 November, 10:00-12:30 Southern African Time (GMT+2) the United Nations Associations of Southern Africa and our partners will be hosting a regional consultative dialogue. All civil society members, volunteers, staff and leaders in the region are invited to attend. This is NOT a webinar and we look forward to hearing what you have to say.

Your inputs at this dialogue will form part of a report which will be sent to the United Nations, so make sure your views are included!

All ZUNA affiliated schools that are going to be participating at tomorrow’s Model UN session at Cranborne Boys’ High School had their last chance to gear up for the Debate. This year’s theme is targeting MDG Goal No. 7 that is “Ensure Environmental Sustainability”. The schools which will be representing 29 different countries will address the topic “Progress on Adapting Climate Change”.

ZUNA is at it again at UNIC. Today ZUNA and Perfect Bakery had their launching ceremony of High Schools Choral Competition on MDGs. The function was graced by many stakeholders and ZUNA’s partners. Members of different media houses graced this function for media coverage, including ZBC and others.

ZUNA participated along other CSOs at a cleanup campaign which was spearheaded by Miracle Missions at Rhodesview Shopping Centre. These cleanup campaigns are being done so as for different CSOs to encourage fellow citizens to take active participation in creating a clean environment and also work in line with City of Harare’s 2025 target that is – creating and promoting a clean environment.

Model UN Orientation at UNIC Board Room

All ZUNA-affiliated schools were present at this orientation for Model UN which is going to be held on the 12th of July at Cranborne Boys’ High School. This year’s Model UN is going to be addressing MDG 7 – Ensuring Environmental Sustainability.

The countries are doing to be addressing on the progress to adopting climate change.
